Disk Space

Storage |
Disk space (also referred to as "storage") is the amount of space you have to store your web pages and
related images etc. The average web page is 56Kb
in size so you can fit around 17 pages in 1 MB of
storage. Our smallest package has 200 MB of storage
or approximately 2000+ pages! Think of it being
like the hard drive on your computer at work or
home. You are assigned a piece of the hard drive
to use and enjoy. If you need more, you can buy more! |

Disk Transmission

Traffic |
The geek term for the flow of electronic data
that moves out of your site. Each time a visitor
looks at your site, pictures and text are sent to
their computer (the more visitors the more bandwidth).
The average web page is 56K in size and with our
smallest package you can serve 8500+ pages to visitors.
Also known as "bandwidth". If you exceed the monthly traffic included with your package, you are only billed for the extra you use. |

You will need to know who is visiting and where
they come from to make the most of your website.
We provide software that allows you to see who is
visiting, when and what they are looking at so you
don't have to guess. This also lets you know how
your advertising and search engine results are working

| POP3 Accounts /
Mailboxes |
This describes the email account that will collect all of your incoming emails. Our smallest package has 5 (five) POP3 accounts or also called mailboxes. If you run out of mailboxes, remember you can always create aliases that forward mail off to another address. |

| Email Aliases |
An alias is an email address that acts as a forward, rather than collect and store mail like a mailbox does. You can setup an unlimited number of aliases, so if you want the same person to receive emails sent to sales@ and info@, then create those two addresses as an alias and send them to the same single address.

| Email Catch-All Feature |
Mail that is sent to anyname@yourdomain.com can be forwarded to a single email address, this eliminates the hassel of having to create the obvious addresses such as sales@ or info@ or webmaster@, etc. You can also turn-off this feature to reduce the volume of spam messages you may also receive. |

| Email Virus Scanner |
We scan all incomming email on our servers so that we can help in the fight against virus infections from email. Mail that is found to be infected never makes it to your mailbox. We provide this peace of mind to all customers. You should still use an anti virus porgram for your computer and email at home/office. |

| SMTP Mail Service |
You can create forms that email you the contents, this is done on the server and is called SMTP Mail. It is included as part of our hosting packages. This makes an easy way to collect information from customers or visitors without having to develop a database collection system. |

| Email Control Panel |
A single place to manage your email services such as changing the password and username, creating aliases, removing aliases etc. You can also create "Vacation" messages that are sent to anyone sending you mail i.e." I am on vacation, please contact Betty Sue if it's an emergency". |

| Webmail Access |
We offer the ability for you to use any browser (such as Internet Explorer®) to access your email. So if you are travelling or just visiting a friend you can simply visit your webmail panel, login and handle your mail. It's a great replacement for Hotmail® and has lots of great features. |

| FTP Access |
You or your designer can access your storage area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). FTP is how you move files from your computer to the web server. It's ususally done with a small, easy to use program that connects you to the web server. You can upload and download as much as you like and whenever you like. You can begin uploading stuff 15 Minutes after signing up!! It's easy. |

| Shell Accounts |
This is for the geek crowd. We do not provide this service for shared services (where more than one customer is on a server). If you need this, you really need your own server. |

| CGI-BIN |
There are mini-programs you can obtain from the web that give your site things like guestbooks, visitor counters, forms etc. These just get put into your CGI-BIN using FTP and you are off! This is a courtesy we provide to all accounts. You may never use it but it's there if you need to. |

| Free Scripts |
To save our users time and brain cells, we collected a bunch of scripts for various things: Guestbooks, forms, counters etc. It's available to you or your designer at no charge as an account perk. Enjoy! |

| Raw Log Files |
We provide you with access to a statistics program to see your traffic and visitors. We also provide the raw "log" from the server so you can use other statistics programs you may prefer. This means you can obtain the best information from a bunch of different programs to best make your decisions. |

| Perl Support |
You or your designer may need to use PERL (a programming language) to make some features of your website. We provide this support in every package so you can just add, code and use. |
|
| PHP Support |
PHP is a powerful way to make dynamic database driven sites, forms and portals. If you or your designer decide to use PHP we support the most current versions of PHP so you have drop and use access! |
|
Password Protected
Directories |
If you want to create areas in your site that visitors need a password to get into, this is for you. You can make any number of folders on your site protected and change the passwords with ease. This is a handy feature for member or electronic product offerings (mail them the access information when they buy). |

| MySQL Database |
If you or your designer think you need the power and flexibility of a database on your site (shopping, catalogue, membership directory etc) you will need MySQL access (A database type). We can also provide MS SQL if you require the features or power of this premium database (at substantial cost). |

| Site Backup |
We provide daily backup services to all our customers. If you do something completely horrible (Delete everything) we can restore your site at least to the previous week. It's not perfect but saves you all the trouble of recreating from scratch. If you want more regimented backups (Daily) they can be added at extra cost for peace of mind. |

Virtual Hosting Plans - These plans are perfect
for basic websites designed in HTML (Dreamweaver, FrontPage,
etc.) and which can include JavaScript. These plans include
a CGI bin, POP3 email accounts, webmail access, FTP access,
and of course the excellent support offered to all WeDoHosting.com

Plans - For websites requiring MySQL database
solutions, these are the packages for you. Daily backups,
large disk space and bandwidth included. Inexpensive,
robust and complete. A perfect way to get your database
site hosted. |

Plans - These plans are designed for clients
requiring ASP support for their websites. These plans
have many of the same features as the basic plans with
the exception that they are on servers that support Microsoft
Active Server Pages and ASP.Net. |

Fusion and MS SQL Plans - If you require
Cold Fusion Support and/or an MS SQL database these are
the packages for you. Complete with daily backups, large
disk space and bandwidth allotments, and all this hosted
in our state-of-the-art data facilities. |

and/or bandwidth requirements then these are the packages
for you. With disk space up to 1GB and bandwidth up to
